Epic Games has officially confirmed the launch date for Chapter 4 Season 4 of Fortnite.
In a quiet update to the in-game news feed earlier today, Fortnite confirmed the August 25th release date for Season 4 – Chapter 4’s final Season. The date was added to the feed along with a teaser line of, “Are you in?”. So far, Season 4’s theme and Battle Pass cosmetics remain a mystery, breaking the cycle of Season leaks which started when Chapter 4 began.
A specific time for server downtime has not been announced, but the in-game Battle Pass page claims the current cosmetics will remain available until 2am ET on the 25th, which is when Season 3 is expected to end. If the launch follows the release pattern of previous Chapter 4 Seasons, we’ll see the cinematic trailer go live shortly before downtime begins, with the Season itself releasing once downtime ends at around 7am ET.
Epic Games is expected to make an official downtime announcement in the coming days. We’ll keep you updated.
